Definitions |
Performance, workshop, residency, consulting services, commonly used artistic terms, also appear in the BOCES Arts in Education CoSer guidelines. A performance is a theatrical presentation where the artist(s)
presents to the audience of students. A workshop is an
interactive session with the artist, usually involving hands-on work by
the students. A residency is a series of workshops from one (1)
to fourteen (14) days. Consulting Services refers to a residency of
fifteen (15) days or more. Consulting Services of more than ninety (90)
days require justification in writing.
