What Is

Exploratory Enrichment is the title of the BOCES CoSer for a shared service that extends instruction based on the Learning Standards to curriculum based activities outside the arts. These activities may take place at various museums, institutes or in the classroom. The guidelines for these activities differ from those in the Arts in Education CoSer, contact your BOCES Arts in Education Coordinator for procedures for using these resources. Providing access to these resources adds a special dimension to
curriculum. Whether they illuminate the past, reinforce aspects in the
science curriculum, or provide a shared space to explore the
environment, they are an interactive means of reinforcing learning,
using imagination and creative thinking.
